What is SmartBrake Hybrid?
SmartBrake Hybrid is a wireless brake developed for situations where attendant control is needed. Using a wireless remote control, the carer can activate the brakes remotely, providing peace of mind in traffic, on steep slopes or in the event of unforeseen incidents.
Better ergonomics with GripAdapt
For children or adults with smaller hands, the original brake levers can often be difficult to reach. SmartBrake Hybrid can therefore be combined with our latest invention, GripAdapt. These are smart wedges that are mounted so that your brake lever is tilted and comes 10-30 mm closer to the handlebar.
This is particularly favourable because:
Affordable upgrade: This is a cost-effective alternative to buying brand new specialised levers, while retaining the original braking power.
More secure grip: The rider gains better mechanical control and confidence as their fingers reach around the handle without effort.
No complicated interventions: There's no need to replace the entire brake system or re-bleed the brakes; the wedges are mounted directly on existing equipment.
Universal solution: GripAdapt is currently customised Magura HS11but we are constantly developing versions for more types of brake levers.
