Identify the SmartBrake setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you start, you must confirm:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hybrid or Wireless<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rim, Single Disc, or Twin Disc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>which controllers are included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hybrid or Wireless<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the package includes a physical brake lever connected to the SmartBrake brake unit, it is a Hybrid system. When possible, it is often placed at the rear of the bicycle. Pull the lever or press \u201cBrake\u201d on the Hand Controller. Adjust the brakes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before delivery, you must adjust the brake pads as close to the disc or rim as possible without rubbing.<br><br>If the brake pads are too far away, SmartBrake must use more movement to bring the pads into contact with the brake disc or rim before braking begins. This results in slower response and weaker braking performance.
