We would like to connect with technical distributors, specialist dealers, manufacturers and selected professional environments that see a clear fit between SmartBrake and the products, customers or markets they already work with.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SmartGroup develops solutions for adaptive cycling in Norway, with SmartBrake at the centre of our work. As we continue to develop our partner network across Europe, our goal is not to find a distributor in every single country. We would rather work with a smaller number of strong partners who understand adaptive products, have relevant technical expertise and see a clear role for SmartBrake in their market or product portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why SmartBrake?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SmartBrake is a configurable braking system for adaptive bicycles and other cycling solutions where a traditional brake does not optimally meet the cyclist\u2019s needs. Depending on the configuration, SmartBrake can provide easier brake operation for people with reduced hand function, alternative ways of operating the brakes and the possibility of companion-assisted braking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SmartBrake platform includes Hybrid, Wireless and Switch, together with several alternative brake controllers. For us, it is not simply about supplying a brake, but about finding the right combination of bicycle, braking system, controller and intended use. That is why the right partners are so important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who would we like to work with?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are primarily looking to connect with technical distributors and specialist dealers that already work within adaptive cycling, rehabilitation or mobility. A good SmartBrake partner should be able to demonstrate the system, discuss different configurations with customers and professionals, and provide installation or technical support locally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would also like to talk with manufacturers of adaptive bicycles, trikes, handbikes and other mobility products. SmartBrake can be relevant as an option or accessory when a standard braking solution does not suit a particular cyclist or use case. When talking with manufacturers, we prefer to start with something concrete, such as a specific bicycle model, product platform or functional need where SmartBrake could be relevant to test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, we are open to working with established rehabilitation and mobility organisations with strong professional networks. Selected technical, clinical and professional environments may also be relevant partners where there is a concrete opportunity for testing, documentation or the development of practical reference cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can SmartGroup bring to the partnership?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working with SmartGroup is about more than access to the product itself. Depending on the type of partnership, we can provide SmartBrake Hybrid, Wireless and Switch, different brake controllers, demo solutions, technical training and personal support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can also assist with configuration and product selection, demonstrations and try-out sessions, OEM integration and testing. In some projects, collaboration on special adaptations and product development may also be relevant. Our strength lies in the combination of product technology, technical problem-solving and the ability to adapt the solution to the person, the bicycle and the intended use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which markets are we prioritising?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Germany is currently our highest-priority market for further partner development. We are also particularly interested in relevant partners in Benelux, Central Europe and South-East Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, geography alone does not determine whether a partnership is relevant. We are open to strong partner candidates in other European markets where there is a clear product, technical or commercial fit. Existing partner territories will be respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We prefer to start with something concrete<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not expect a new partner to commit to an extensive partnership from day one. In many cases, we believe the best starting point is a concrete pilot project where we can explore together whether there is a good technical and commercial fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a distributor, this could mean setting up a demo solution, becoming familiar with how SmartBrake is configured and identifying the first relevant customers or use cases. For a manufacturer, it could mean selecting one bicycle or product platform and exploring how SmartBrake could be integrated.
