Spike Snow Kids: a snow sled for children

Spike Snow Kids is a snow sled for children with reduced mobility, developed for participation in winter activities.
Spike Snow Kids is designed for winter activities. Assess the surface, setup and need for a companion before use.
Why consider the Spike Snow cross-country sled?
Spike Snow Kids is designed for children from approximately five to six years of age. The frame and seating position can be adjusted as the child grows.
The frame and seating position are adjustable. Suitability, settings and use should be reassessed as the child grows.
Options for activity and rest
Spike Snow Kids has different setups and accessory options for winter activities:
- Self-propelled movement: The child can use poles to propel the sled.
- Towing option: The sled can also be towed by a companion using the appropriate setup.
- Activities with others: Assess adaptations, the surface and the companion’s role.

Adjusting the setup to individual needs
Accessories and seating position should be assessed individually. The product information describes the following accessories:
- Support skis: Check compatibility and use with the supplier.
- Towing bar: For a towed setup when assistance is needed.
- Pole attachment point: Allows a companion to assist by pushing on slopes when needed
- Backrest: An accessory that may form part of an individually assessed seating setup.
The modular system allows the sled setup to be adjusted and reassessed as the child grows.
