Practical information
Quotes and sales terms
A quote request is non-binding. You must receive product, price and terms information before entering a purchase agreement.
Seller and contact
SmartGroup AS, organisation number 999 615 147. Address: Fornebuveien 46, 1366 Lysaker, Norway. Email: post@smartgroup.no. Telephone: +47 64 95 94 44.
From enquiry to quote
Request a quote means asking us for an offer. Sending the enquiry does not take payment or place a binding product order. We will contact you if further information is needed.
The quote should specify the product, variant, quantity and any adaptations, together with price, currency, taxes, shipping, delivery, payment terms and validity. Ask for clarification before accepting anything unclear.
Purchase agreement
Subsequently accepting a quote can be binding. The quote should explain how to accept it and when the agreement is formed. An automated acknowledgement of an enquiry is not an order confirmation.
Consumers must receive relevant information before contracting and written confirmation of a concluded distance contract on a durable medium, such as email. This overview does not replace the full terms accompanying the specific quote.
Consumer right of withdrawal
For distance sales of goods to consumers, the starting point under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act is a 14-day withdrawal right. The Act governs when the period begins, information requirements and specific exceptions. Information about withdrawal, its procedure, the withdrawal form and any return costs must be provided before contracting.
Goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised can be exempt. This requires an individual assessment; selecting a standard variant or purchasing an assistive product does not automatically remove the withdrawal right.
Defects and complaints
Contact post@smartgroup.no with your order or invoice reference and a description of the defect. For consumer purchases under Norwegian law, notify the seller within a reasonable time after discovering or when you should have discovered the defect. This period is never shorter than two months after discovery.
The ordinary final complaint period is two years after delivery, or five years if the goods or parts are intended to last substantially longer under normal use. Different rules can apply to digital services and updates. Any commercial warranty supplements statutory rights.
Customer type and rights
Consumers, businesses and public purchasers can have different contract terms. Delivery country and mandatory law can also matter. This page does not limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For previous purchases, your original agreement and statutory rights continue to apply. A website redesign does not change earlier purchase agreements.
