Practical information
Privacy
How SmartGroup handles information when you contact us, request a quote or subscribe to our newsletter.
Responsible organisation
SmartGroup AS, organisation number 999 615 147, is the controller for enquiries to the company. Contact: post@smartgroup.no. Address: Fornebuveien 46, 1366 Lysaker, Norway.
Contact and quote requests
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, message and other details you choose to provide, such as telephone number, role, product and reference. We use this information to reply, clarify product requirements and follow up your enquiry.
We need a contact address and a description of your question to reply. Do not send national identity numbers, medical records, diagnoses or other sensitive personal information through the form or ordinary email. Contact us first if your enquiry requires such information.
An enquiry is not an order and does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.
Newsletter
Subscription is voluntary and takes place in a separate Brevo form, opened through the subscription link. The information you enter there is used to administer your subscription and send newsletters. You can unsubscribe through the link in the newsletter or contact us.
You can withdraw newsletter consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before consent was withdrawn.
Retention and providers – awaiting confirmation
This is a draft. Before publication, the notice must be completed with the confirmed legal bases for contact and quote enquiries, specific retention periods or clear deletion criteria, relevant providers and any transfers outside the EEA. This draft does not establish new retention periods.
Your rights
You can request access and correction. You can also request erasure or restriction where the relevant conditions are met. A statutory retention obligation can limit erasure.
Data portability applies under specific conditions to automated processing based on consent or contract. The right to object depends, among other things, on the legal basis. You can always object to the use of your information for direct marketing.
Send questions or rights requests to post@smartgroup.no. You can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority or the relevant supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
