Grants and funding
Explore NDIS and other possible routes to assistive technology and adaptive sport equipment funding.
These guides are starting points for research. Listing an organisation does not confirm eligibility, an open application period or funding for a SmartGroup product. Check current requirements directly before ordering.
← All funding guidesIf you are an NDIS participant, discuss the need with your adviser or supporting professional. Funding must fit current rules and your individual plan.
NDIS guidance describes assistive technology that is related to disability, supports the person’s goals, is permitted under the rules and is supported by evidence. High-cost assistive technology requires a quote.
Adaptive sport equipment is not automatically funded by NDIS. Clarify assessment, trials, quotes and any prior approval before buying.
Paralympics Australia is another contact point. Check current equipment programmes directly and establish whether they serve individuals, athletes or programmes.

Contact the organisation about current adaptive sport opportunities.
This directory preserves the contacts from the previous website. Some links refer to past funding rounds or third-party directories. Verify the organisation, location, programme status and equipment criteria directly.
Request an itemised quote and clarify the proposed setup with SmartGroup. A quote is not a funding decision.
