Grants and funding
Explore assistive equipment and activity funding through NAV, starting with an individual assessment through your municipality.
These guides are starting points for research. Listing an organisation does not confirm eligibility, an open application period or funding for a SmartGroup product. Check current requirements directly before ordering.
← All funding guidesA municipal occupational therapist or physiotherapist can help with assessment, trials and documentation. Product selection, adaptations and any funding must be assessed individually.
Activity equipment funding for people over 26 is subject to an annual budget. The Norwegian guide recorded on 26 October 2026 that NAV’s budget for new purchases in 2026 was committed, while necessary servicing, repairs and parts for equipment already in use could still be covered. Check current status with NAV.
NAV has separate rules for training, stimulation and activity equipment for people under 26. Do not assume the same rules apply to every age group or product.
Request an itemised quote when the adviser or NAV needs product information. A quote or an HMS product number does not itself mean an application will be approved.

This directory preserves the contacts from the previous website. Some links refer to past funding rounds or third-party directories. Verify the organisation, location, programme status and equipment criteria directly.
Request an itemised quote and clarify the proposed setup with SmartGroup. A quote is not a funding decision.
